This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data by R7VISUALS, operated by Ricardo Teerds, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We are committed to safeguarding the personal information and creative assets of our clients, collaborators, and visitors.

02. Personal Data We Collect

We only process personal data that you voluntarily provide to us when initiating contact, requesting a video production quotation, or entering into a creative partnership:

• Contact Information: Name, business name, phone number (WhatsApp), and email address.
• Project & Creative Briefings: Concept notes, project requirements, preferred shoot dates, brand guidelines, and location details.
• Audiovisual Footage & Likeness: Video recordings, voice captures, and still photography produced during contracted filming sessions with proper commercial consent.
• Technical Server Data: Anonymous access logs, browser type, and language preference required to securely deliver our high-resolution video streaming.

03. Purpose & Legal Basis (GDPR / AVG)

In accordance with Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming - AVG), we process your data under the following legal grounds:

• Performance of a Contract: To plan, schedule, shoot, edit, color grade, and deliver agreed video productions.
• Legitimate Business Interest: Communicating directly via WhatsApp or email to answer questions and manage client relationships.
• Explicit Consent: Where you agree to portfolio showcases, public distribution of produced brand films, or testimonial quotes.
• Legal Obligation: Tax retention obligations according to Dutch fiscal law (Belastingdienst).

04. Film Production & Media Rights

As a specialized film and motion direction studio, we handle raw 4K and RAW footage with the highest confidentiality. Commercial portfolio appearances on this website (such as client campaign cuts) are published strictly pursuant to client agreements or explicit mutual approval.

05. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

We intentionally minimize third-party dependencies. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to marketing brokers or advertising networks. We utilize only essential infrastructure:

• Cloudflare CDN & DNS: Fast, secure worldwide delivery and DDoS mitigation.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): Direct client communications via end-to-end encrypted messaging.

06. Data Retention

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy:

• General Inquiries: Stored for up to 12 months after the last correspondence, unless a project is initiated.
• Contractual & Invoice Data: Stored for 7 years to comply with the statutory fiscal retention period of the Dutch Tax Administration.
• Master Project Files: Retained securely in encrypted studio archives for client backup and re-edits unless a complete deletion is mutually requested.

07. Your Rights under the GDPR

Under European data protection regulations, you possess the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right of Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to Erasure ('Right to be Forgotten'): You can ask us to delete your personal data where legally permissible.
